Core loop
- Sidequest
- A real-world challenge with proof, XP, and optional bonuses. Stored as a quests row.
- Submission
- Proof uploaded for review.
- Approval
- Moderator accepts proof → XP, badges, epithets, feed post.
- Chain bonus
- +30% XP if you start another quest within 24h of an approval.
- Life Score
- Composite leaderboard rank (XP, streak, completions, rare badges).
Quest taxonomy
- Life dimension
- What kind of aliveness you practice (Adventure, Connection, Romance, …). Primary player filter and profile life texture.
- Quest archetype
- Retention psychology: standard, identity, emotional, live_event, unpredictable, mythic.
- Category
- Optional city flavor for the map legend (Food, Hidden Layer). Not the same as dimension.
- Domain
- Content lane: city_exploration, life_sidequests, or hybrid. Separate from life dimension.
Life dimensions (10)
- Adventure: Interrupt autopilot.
- Connection: Real moments, not followers.
- Romance: Romanticize the hour you're in.
- Courage: Do the thing that compounds identity.
- Creativity: Expressive, not productive.
- Wonder: Remember the city can surprise you.
- Discipline: Self-respect, not hustle.
- Presence: Be where your body is.
- Contribution: Matter to someone today.
- Chaos: Let life pick the plot.
Identity & progression
- Total XP
- Global progression → level bands (Curious → Living Lore).
- Level title
- Name for your global level. Display one via active_title on your profile.
- Dimension level
- Per-dimension level derived from XP on quests tagged with that life_dimension.
- Badge
- Collectible trophy (streak, first blood, category devotee, …).
- Epithet
- Behavior-earned "Known as…" line (Nightwalker, The Plug). Earned, not picked from a menu unless you feature one you have.
- Featured epithet
- Which earned epithet shows on your profile when set.
Live city layer
- City mode
- Admin-triggered moment (Blackout, Rain, Derby). Boosts discovery and can gate epithet rules.
- Tonight in {city}
- Home banner for active mode + featured emotional/live quest.
Social & ops
- Squad
- 2–5 player crew with weekly city XP.
- Tag-a-friend
- Post-approval social link; mutual XP if same quest within 7 days.
- Global lens
- City slug global or quests with show_in_global visible in any live city.
- Flash quest
- Limited-time quest with XP multiplier.
- Mega quest
- Campaign projected into discovery as kind: mega.
